Attorney General Bill Barr has begun telling top Republicans that the Justice Department’s sweeping review into the origins of the Russia investigation will not be released before the election, a senior White House official and a congressional aide briefed on the conversations tell Axios.
Why it matters: Republicans had long hoped the report, led by U.S. Attorney John Durham, would be a bombshell containing revelations about what they allege were serious abuses by the Obama administration and intelligence community probing for connections between President Trump and Russia.

Barr does nothing. The minute the dems get in power they will be prosecuting and throwing Republicans in jail as far as the eye can see.

When Barr covers up treason, and that is what he is doing, then he is a traitor to the nation also.

It takes a veeerrrry long time to cover for the Deep State. Three years is certainly not long enough.
I agree 100% ... and Trump and his team need to focus like a laser on the economy and law / order for next 25 days with an aim to get his voters energized and to the polls. Period.

Trump should just release everything. No redactions. There will never be arrests anyway. Might as well at least get the truth out there.

And the irony is that, at least per one report just after Poppy’s funeral, which is when Barr came up as the AG nominee (with Joe DiGenova flogging him to Trump), the Jeb and W generation of Bushes decided they didn’t want to continue their father’s criminal business and came to a truce with the Trump family. (Remember all the Bushes with their extended nostalia visit to the WH?) The report at the time said that Barr, long a Bush family/CIA coverup fixer and close personal friend of Rober Mueller, was put in as part of the deal by the Bushes to be an enforcer of the truce terms. (That neither family would face serious charges.)

Yeah; they’re BFFs. Also, Mueller and Barr are church/social friends.
Why would Trump go for that?
The probe drags on in an effort to be thorough. This is “newspeak” for nothing will happen and, if Trump loses, the entire “investigation” will disappear. The same can be said for any serious investigations of Antifa or BLM. Nothing. It seems the wheels of justice move quickly only in October of an election year and only to indict some sad-sack “right wing extremists” for plotting to kidnap Whitmer.
Don’t get discouraged....Barr and/ or Durham will write a book for us conservatives to buy.
To get the real impeachment dogs called off.
