The more you test, the higher the numbers of infected you will find; that's only logical !
To hold a population captive over higher numbers of asymptomatic infection at the detriment of the entire population and civilization is illogical.
The disease is so novel, thanks to the actions of the Chinese govt. and WHO, that we don't have established standards for infected, asymptomatic,
and don't even the standards for the reliability of the testing procedure.
Remember the original covid tests that were distributed by the CDC that were found to be defective and inaccurate ?
No wonder the political puppet masters are insisting on holding back the economy and society based on ideology.
They keep moving the goalposts !
Remember when they said the shut down was based on not overwhelming the hospitals and emergency rooms ?
The truth is that the numbers we should be concerned about should be the number of regional deaths,
and the regional numbers of ICU hospital beds treating positive tested covid-19 infections using intubation.
For too long the numbers of covid infection have been used too long for political purposes and social control.
Personally, I will continue to use my mask, but I will tell you to respect my "free agency" for independence and freedom,
while I am still socially responsible around the population who may be at risk.
And yes, I do have comorbities which put me at risk, but I also want to live my life, and not be trapped in a basement by some politician who ignores both the developing science, the society, the economy, and the logic of a lockdown.

My Lord calls me to be charitable to my fellow man. I will wear a mask at the store, and I'll stay 6' away because I don't know what kind of physical or mental concerns the guy or gal ahead of me is shouldering. But if I'm walking in town and someone yells at me to mask-up, I'll say "thanks Karen" and walk away.
