Like me, many black persons supporting Trump probably is going to hide it from pollsters.
why should I tell a complete stranger my political views, particularly when most of them are media outlets who will lie and manipulate results anyway???

I notice a pronounced absence of bumper stickers for either candidate this year as compared to 2016....I live in a large city (Charlotte). I notice when I go outside the city I see some Trump flags and signs while I see absolutely nothing for Biden.
I think a lot of people - most especially Trump voters - are afraid to announce themselves publicly for fear of having their property vandalized, being fired from their jobs or being harassed by others. I suspect a lot of the “shy” Trump voters are Black.
