Game two of the NBA Finals had horrific TV ratings when the Lakers beat the Heat.
According to Outkick, the game only averaged 4.5 million viewers on ABC this past Friday night, which is a huge drop from the 7.41 million viewers game one got.
To make matters worse, it’s also the least-watched NBA Finals game on record, according to the same Outkick report.
These numbers aren’t just bad. They’re downright embarrassing. People are clearly done with the NBA, and they’ve had enough.

The NBA can only thank themselves for putting an unpatriotic product on the TV.
Keep up the anti-American rhetoric and actions and they will be happy with 4.5 million fans watching.

They are kneeling before the start of every match in the EPL. I don’t know if they are lecturing their fan base about it or not.
The game hasn’t been entertaining since Bird left. Who cares about one on one BB and then they spit in America’s face to boot.

But also consider....in 1980 there were no smart phones or other such devices. And though ESPN was around they didn't have contracts with the nba.
Today there are far more screens available due to the internet vs 1980.
And 1980 ironically the game 6 was tape delayed to most of the country as there was still a lack of tv interest in the nba.
They may be heading back to that position.
When viewed in light of all that the 4.5m viewers is really, really terrible for the nba.

Those 4.5 million were probably all of the federal employees, Dem congressmen, and contractors involved in the Russian hoax. Won’t be as many next year when they are in jail.

Well game 3 was a bit more interesting since Miami won. Not that I watched but I read the dispatches from the front.
I guess they can’t make it too obvious.
Yeah I think sweeps are the worse for ratings so they have to salvage something here.
