Hell of a drug.
If I were on that flight as she passed me I would have simply put the heal of my hand with all my force to her temple. The movies always show the blow to the jaw with a fist which is not that effective. The blow to the temporal region insures maximum shock to the brain and thus the bad person is knocked out. It might even kill them but with my advanced age and diminished strength probably not. In my youth I lifted weights but not now. I am still strong as I take care of ten acres of land.

I’m not so sure this is drugs.
Sounds more like a case of, um... culture and a belief that since she’s part of that culture, she’s untouchable or else riots.
