Most of them are on private property, as are the Trump signs. I’m trying not to read too much into it, especially considering all the strong show of support for Trump elsewhere. Trump won this county with 54% of the vote last time and I expect him to do the same this time. Plus, POTUS’s increased percentages with Blacks and Hispanics probably means he’ll win Florida this year with a higher margin than 2016. I know there are a lot of Trump supporters in my neighborhood. I guess they’re just not quite as vocal this year. Maybe the Biden signs are from panicky Dems.
It’s very unusual here. The Democrats used to dominate, but most were socially conservative, and somewhat conservative from a fiscal standpoint. At one time there were not even any Republican’s on the ballot. That changed in 2012.
Usually there are a lot of signs — more Dems than Pubs. This year there are almost no signs anywhere-even for the state candidates. A couple of big signs for Trump and for Biden on empty lots—likely the local party put them up.
Obama only won the county in 2012 by 4 votes. I expect POTUS to win the county this election.
