Our police force has been changing for years.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All of your statements about the police appear to generalize the entirety of law enforcement into a corrupt force. I think there are cities and towns where that must, sadly, be true.
But I’ve been fortunate enough not to live in those areas. So, these generalizations, no matter how well written, do not resonate with me. Lately, in researching Q drops and following current events, I see the police being beaten and in one particularly brutal instance, hit in the back of the head with a baseball bat. Right now, one the Q thread, qualified immunity is not the top of my concern.
I respect your passion for this issue and your intellect.
“....you mentioned not seeing a solution, I have brought one up, but so far, nobody has even addressed it.”
You seem to be increasingly frustrated with me or people like me who are not responding the way you feel I (we) should. It’s not a lack of concern on my part. At this point in time I believe the police need all the protection(s) they can get as they are currently being physically attacked just for showing up.
If you do create a standing thread in the forum on the topic of police reform to organize the kind of civic response you have been diligently seeking, I would be interesting in hearing your thoughts, but not until I have more thread time and until the police are not being specifically targeted for defunding and vilification in general.
I’m not saying there are no needs or all cops are good. I’m saying the police need our support right now. They have contributed to the quality of my life since I was born and this is the first time in my life when I’ve seen the level of violence being directed at them.
Well-intentioned attempts to balance the rights of the public/police etc. would, at this time, most likely be commandeered to further the aims of the deep state who are demanding defunding or in Kamala Harris’ view, “re-imagining” of law enforcement.
I plan to support the police against violent assaults on them, defunding and disbanding now, and after the attacks on their survival lessen, would be willing to read with interest threads you create to lay out your ideas for addressing the concerns you’ve voiced. I can’t read about police being shot by rioters and focus on police reform at the same time.
Respectfully ransomnote, I don’t understand your point. if it isn’t something your interested in, then why reply? Please clarify that you in no way are implying you thinkI am ok with cops being beaten or defunded, because if this isn’t your issue, that’s kind of how it’s worded. In the past, there have been some vociferous posters here, who have called me a cop hater because I want police reform. They have responded the same to others bringing up similar thoughts. This tactic should be discouraged. My guess is they have been contacting you. But, like so much on the q thread, just a theory.
I have been responding to posts, all of them, at least to me, seem cordial enough. One poster sent a PM telling me how he/she was greatly involved in working with her mayor/pastor to ensure this does not happen in their community. Another, had commented they liked the idea of QI reform.
One more thing. Who is controlling and paying for the riots that are killing cops? derps
Who is orchestrating the corrupt officials that are getting cops to arrest Christians, non mask wearers, business owners? derps
Two years ago, if someone would have posted a video of Christians being arrested for no reason in the United States of America, FR would be lit up!
The idea, that in order to stand with police who are being brutalized, we can’t stand against Christians being arrested, well lets just say, the derp plan worked. They have managed to keep us quiet while they go about transforming this country.
And replacing what we have for a Federal force
is not an option for me and that is what they want.
AMEN. Timing is everything. The fight right now, is to KEEP the police or they will be replaced with the community policing envisioned by the Marxists—just like Hitler and his Brown Shirts.
The politicians giving the orders - including Soros DAs need to be replaced, and citizens wrongly treated, need to file civil rights cases.
Right now, in addition to the brutal treatment by the riot-prone thugs, the officers are being summarily fired and criminal charges are being filed without due process. Not a good time to heap another negative outcome onto them.
