SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) – Sept. 25 is National One-Hit Wonder Day! A day where we can celebrate those songs that topped the charts but then their performers faded away from the music scene. Not really. “American Pie” was Don McLean’s biggest hit (and the analysis of it is very interesting), but he did have a couple of others. “Vincent (Starry, Starry Night)” was a minor hit.

Yup. And in the same vein (pun intended), a song that came out about the same time but can actually be sung along with, is “Timothy” by the Buoys.
