Obama refused to go to Scalia’s funeral.
There was one day this summer where newspapers had many pages of obituaries and it was blamed on Covid yet the number of deaths that occur in a year (all causes) has not spiked.
I loathe the yellow journalist press.
I’ve read different explanations of why RBG refused to retire, even though she has fall and broken bones twice, and has battle cancer, for the last 10 years. They range from feminism (no one told men like Breyer to retire, or she wanted Hillary to pick her replacement), to politics (she wanted a choice of her replacement) to pure arrogance (its my job for life!)
Anyway, they all have to do with her ideological possession or or own arrogance.

In the past 4 years (2016 (before the election->today) how many hours was she actually reading the papers and hearing arguments in the Court?
They have few hours public compared to hours of “prep” - but how many times in every month when the Court was actually in session was she even present?
We know her decisions were “by paper” several times - was she even lucid enough to read and consider her “written” opinions? Or was she staff-work since 2016-2017?
Will this be on major television networks like Welstone’s Democrat rally?
Most USSC opinions are written by staffers, and there’s a long history of incapable or just disinterested justices handing off everything to staff.
