This nomination to the Supreme Court can (will) work in Trump’s favor in every way.

Nominate and vote BEFORE the election.

1. Win. It’s over with.
2. Lose (still a win)
a. Use the loss to show why Trump needs to win reelection and needs to keep and add seats to the Senate.

b. Bring her back up after the election (win or lose) and get Collins and Murkowski’s votes to confirm. Over with.

c. If Trump loses, nominate the most radical, rabid, constitutional conservative there is and RAM them through the Senate.

d. A recess appointment is also a possible alternative.

Like Trump just said “We’ve got time, January 20th, right?”

Of course, very important to get this done BEFORE the election, if possible, because of likely election shenanigans (legal challenges) by the Democrats.

In EVERY way this is a guaranteed Trump appointment of a Conservative to the court.

There is NOTHING the Demonrats can do to prevent it.
