SEATTLE Investigators with Seattles Office of Police Accountability say officers did not intentionally target a young boy when they hit him in the face with pepper spray during a protest.
Video of the boy crying, with milk running down his face to lessen the effects of the spray, went viral after the May 30 protest and led to 13,000 complaints filed with OPA.
According to an OPA description released Friday, (The boy) and his father moved towards a protester who had grabbed an officers baton and was pushing into the police line. An SPD supervisor used pepper spray to move the protester back. In response, the protester ducked, causing the pepper spray to inadvertently affect the boy and his father.

We are deeply disappointed, but not surprised, by the result reached by the OPA. Today, they have confirmed that it is the Seattle Police Departments position that the use of pepper spray in an intentional and reckless manner that it would strike an innocent child exercising their First Amendment rights is within policy.

The boy is 7 years old... He was exercing his First Amendment rights at the anti-police protest? What?
I don't think it is a good idea for any parent to take a 7 year old boy to some anti-police protest...Too dangerous...There are thugs who attack cops at the protest...Cops have to respond...That boy could get hurt...It is too dangerous for the boy...Forget the First Amendment for the boy...Worry about his physical safety first...

Everything about them is just like ISIS.
Antifa/BLM burned up a boy and his dog in the Santiam River canyon. So which is worse?
Antifa/BLM insurrectionists need to be removed.
That father should be fined for child endangerment, because that is exactly what he did by taking his 7 year old to a “protest” that was guaranteed to turn into a riot...
This is a prime example of an unfit mother. What parent would even take his or her child a mile from these riots.
Officer: Oh yeah, we totally targeted that guy.
I fondly remember my father taking me to violent protests when I was 7. Afterwards we would get Colt 45 and cat call the women walking by. Here’s to you Billy D...
