There's actually a Kansas City pizza restaurant called "Original Pizza," and the owners are from Brooklyn, and their pizza was really quite good.
We also had another NY style pizza place that was really incredible (don't remember the name,) but when the Watts Mill shopping center flooded, it closed.

It was THE BEST!!!! Player piano, having the band on weekends with a banjo player, the long bench seating tables, and the window with stairs to watch them make your pizza!
Plus I still recall their lunch buffet that had the most amazing fried chicken as well!

It took me quite a while to get used to not having a garlic shaker on the tables when moving from NY to KC! We had the hot pepper flakes and garlic shakers, none of the so called "cheese" you find at Pizza Hut!"

Well, I don't know about that, but if you're look for a frozen pizza, and you have a powerful yen for a combination "spinach & artichoke" topping, you might want to give this one a whirl...

Depending on who you talk to, St Louis style pizza is either really good (it is the ProVel cheese, sauce and incredibly crisp crust,) or as I've heard it described, "Saltine crackers, some ketchup and velveta cheese!"
I happen to love Imo's myself. Haven't been there in a while, we still had 2 in Kansas City pre-pandemic... I don't know if they're still open.

I used to like both of those but they’re not so good anymore. I now like the DiGiorno’s Pizzeria line. Of course I load them up with my own toppings.
My favorite is probably long out of business, unless someone picked it up from the owner. Pizza King in Whitaker, Pa (later moved to Munhall). Square Sicilian style with large chunks of tomato in the sauce and provolone cheese. Nothing fancy, just really good pizza. I used to buy it half baked and cook it up a little at a time to make it last.
Depends what you’re getting, but I remember generally in the $18-$25 range for a medium. I think my last pint of beer there was $6.

Love Pepe's - it's at least a nose ahead of Sally's.
Do you remember Tree Tavern frozen pizza in the 70s? Add a little olive oil it was good.
