As one who watches the solar cycle closely (for HF radio purposes), those promoting this “Eddy Minimum” nonsense are speaking out of their nether regions.

In fact, actual space science from 2020 suggests very strongly that Cycle 25 may in fact be the strongest in 50 years:

Just the opposite of a “minimum”.

We are already seeing “started sunspots”, an improvement over the quiet sun of last year but just a precursor of what is to come, and the remnants of the previous cycle still prevail. But don’t waste any energy worrying about a solar minimum.

Other comments on your own linked article, strongly dispute those conclusions.

The researcher with the most accurate overall record over the last 4 cycles is Leif Svalgard of Stanford, is predicting Solar Cycle 25 to be marginally stronger than Cycle 24.

Miles Mathis’ calculations based on planetary alignment and solar system alignment with the galactic core indicate that we should indeed see increased activity for quite some time.

Any connections between sunspot activity and severity of epidemics?

(Even though China accidentally on purpose let the WuhanVirus out?)
