I cold watch this on a loop... pic.twitter.com/9sIX2RyX8W— James Woods (@RealJamesWoods) September 9, 2020
Well, tonite will be a Patriot night.
Our local tennis club, of which I am a member, has been allowed by governor wHitler, to open their indoor courts.
Just in time for Michigan’s rainy season.
And, I have league-play tonight.
Problem is, everyone inside must wear a face covering while playing.
Oh, and “contact tracing”.
I have a “closed mesh” covering I use for turkey hunting.
It is expandable and has very fine cross-fibers between the main lines, making breathing very easy.
The guv’s order does not specify the face covering, only that it is a “cloth face covering worn over the mouth and nose”.
There are anecdotes of businesses refusing service to mesh-mask wearers in the Detroit area.
But, these have mostly been of the Alyssa Murano crochet type.
I am willing to wear it out of “compassion” for others who don’t know I don’t need it.
I don’t expect any pushback when I show up but if there is, I have a fallback position.
I’ve had the Rona and recovered from it so I can claim a medical exemption.
They are not required by the guv’s order to investigate the reason.
Verbal affirmation is the only requirement.
They can’t ask if I’ve tested positive or even been tested at all.
Currently, the risk of “severe symptom re-infection” stands at 1-in-6.5 million and world wide at 1-in-27.5 million.
The contact tracing thing might be dicey.
I won’t sign in because the guv’s order specifies “visitors”.
I am a member...of which they already have my name and phone number.
That will be a NO-GO for me.
It is a violation of my 4th and 5th Amendment protections because the list will be given to the local health department.
I will not /willingly/ give up my civil rights.
If they send my information on the local health department from their records *without* my express permission, they are in violation of our personal security agreement.
I can tort them.
