it’s called something that is going to be stopped dead in its tracks when stories like this appear.
I’ve read that phrase, ‘red mirage’ in several places now. It’s the Talking Point, and it’s gaining traction.
This will happen in Blue states. Trump only needs 270 electoral votes so they can play any of the games they wish and it will not matter.
Dems try to steel every election outside of Crapifornia and New Jerk.
Red Delusion
I don’t buy this one... and whatever the dems try... and I don’t doubt they will drag it out and then say Trump didn’t win... but whatever they try..they forget.. Trump is a fighter and he will out do any one of the dems...he isn’t broke either.
Pull this Shiite and CWII stars the next day.
Since they are basically admitting they will steal the election, perhaps it would be prudent to stop it before they screw around with ballots.
The Left is preparing the battlespace with these announcements.
The ACLU is assisting by litigating for mail-in votes to be counted even if the signature on the ballot doesn’t match the signature on record.
They will NOT steal the election by mail-in. It wouldnt be advantageous for local Ds, what with all the unpleasantness and all that would occur as a result of shenanigans.
NO, the plan is to DELAY the results so that Trump/Pence have to abdicate. Pelosi as well.
It will fall to the Senate Pro Tempore, currently Grassley, but the makeup of the Senate would change as those Senators up for reelection would also have to abdicate, so new Senators would have to be appointed, so it would become complicated as to who would hold the majority and who would become the Senate Pro Tempore and then whom would become president in this case.
BUT! The IMPORTANT thing is that Trump would be OUT!
Of course. Trump wins on election night then democrats take the vote totals, figure out how many ballots they need to print and reverse the numbers a week later. Same scam they’ve been pulling for decades, except it use to only work on close races, were a missing ballot box or two popping up wouldn’t raise too much suspicion. But now with mail in voting the sky’s the limit. Need another million votes? Get those printers running!
When you look at the polls that ask if you plan to vote in person or to mail in your ballot, there’s a massive skew for the first among Republicans and for the second among Democrats. This is not evidence of a conspiracy.
On election night Trump should DECLARE VICTORY and state that the race is OVER and that he will WILL BE president for the next four years REGARDLESS of FAKE mail in ballots.
Do they have mail in electoral votes?
Does anyone know?
Can President Trump issue an Executive Order to deal with the mail-in vote fraud?
This kind of crap will definitely be happening in PA, MI, and WI. All three have Democrat governors. Trump’s advantage in all three needs to be ridiculously big.
I think this is Rat agitprop to try an depress Trump voter turn out.
We need poll watchers and count monitors to document any shenanigans during the election. And there has to be a documented chain of custody for all mail-in ballots, especially once they have been received by the U.S. Postal Service.
Established constitutional standards such as "one man, one vote" apply to equal apportionment of congressional districts, not to the tabulation process or the general conduct of an election. It certainly should apply to the process, but no issue, properly framed on that topic has been raised in the courts. It would be nice to get a SCOTUS ruling that applies "one man one vote" to the conduct of elections. But, just as you see federalism being expressed by CA and NY in attempts to thwart the Trump Administration, you really do not have much federal control of the conduct of elections. (For example, see the Milwaukee primary election in 2020 - where even though the National Guard was made available to help administer the election, the city only had 5 polling places open, for a city of nearly 600,000 people. This was the Democrats in control of Milwaukee deliberately under-sizing the number of polling places to create an issue.) When there is election-day litigation it is typically in the form of an injunction which is sought to keep a particular precinct open later due to (malfunctioning tabulation equipment, long lines, power failure at voting location, etc.)
I worked in the war room for Gov. Rick Scott's re-election in 2014 and the one legal issue that came up late in the day on election day was an attempt by the Democrats to keep open polling places in Broward County (the mother-lode of Democratic votes in FL.) That emergency motion was denied and the election that day ran about as scheduled. (Scott won with a margin of 64,000 votes out of approx 5.666M ballots cast - a little too close for my sense of comfort, but a win nonetheless.)
I would anticipate that Democrats, or parties working on their behalf will work to elasticize all of the deadlines, and all the definitions involved in the tabulation process. One state I am familiar with will allow the counting of absentee ballots cast and postmarked by or on election day and delivered to the election authorities by 3 days after the election. So for that state I would expect them to go into court, to relax the three day rule, and ultimately to extend the postmark rule or to make more ambiguous the meaning of "postmarked." Thus you see all the brouhaha about the post office which is preemptive planning for the post election actions.
I know that extending the postmark rule would lead to retrospective voting - waiting to see what the election day total was, and allowing voters to cast ballots with that knowledge for days or weeks thereafter. Completely insane, but mark my words, they will work for this.
