Wisc. Law- open carry of loaded rifles and pistols OK for those 16 and older not otherwise prohibited from possessing firearms. (Age 17-Kyle is ok on this).

SELF DEFENSE-Have the reasonable belief: that they or another person, are in imminent danger of death or great bodily harm, and that the use of deadly force is necessary to prevent said harm.
The author’s lengthy review of the Engagements concludes that it is difficult to argue that Rittenhouse was not of such reasonable belief.
Very Clear cut in terms of exhaustion of alternatives short of the use of deadly force and restraint that author has encountered. Note-author thought he might have been too hesitant.
He states that a tactical instructor would likely have advised a second shot to MBG to totally neutralize threat.
