Yes. He had a great wit. He used to post on a regular basis things like his "ultimate flame".
I spoke with him on occasion. I think he was a genius.
I was so sad when he passed.

Yes, it was when I learned he passed. I looked forward to his latest Firehat rants. And I agree, he was a great obsever of the human condition from a pragmatic standpoint. He brooked no argument from pantywaists and didn’t suffer fools gladly. He’d empty the magazine on them. We need a few more Norm Liebmanns on street corners, raising hell.
