The two games on Thursday were Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Second Round between the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Islanders, scheduled for 7 p.m. ET at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, and Game 3 of the Western Conference Second Round between the Vegas Golden Knights and Vancouver Canucks, scheduled for 9:45 p.m. ET at Rogers Place in Edmonton.
The two games Friday were Game 4 of the East Second Round between the Boston Bruins and Tampa Bay Lightning in Toronto, and Game 4 of the West Second Round between the Dallas Stars and Colorado Avalanche.

All these sports teams are shooting themselves in the foot. The longer they boycott the more people will realize they can do without sports. Owners should dock pay for every game not played and see how long the walkout lasts.

What racism are they talking about? Please give me one single solitary example of racism by police in the past few years. Cops kill more whites than blacks, but that’s not racist is it. But just because someone is black some asshats have classified it as “systemic racism” and other asshats accept this as fact without a shred of evidence.

The NHL might be as dumb as NASCAR or maybe worse. I hope every professional sport shuts down for the year. The only sport I watch is the UFC. I use to watch NFL football every Sunday, Monday and Thursday if they had a game scheduled. I started to lose interest about 10 years ago. The Kaperlick nonsense turned me off completely and I haven't watched a game since. I use to enjoy taking my nephews to Yankee Stadium to watch some games. Those days are long gone. You couldn't give me free tickets to go see the Patriots,Giants, Jets, Knicks, Red Sox or Yankees. I will take my money and my nephews elsewhere. Probably go on a few more charter boat trips to fish for stripers and bluefish. We have a better time on the boat anyway.

Hockey was dead to me during the first Blackhawks Playoff game this year. When "We Skate for Black Lives" was on the big arena display and shown on TV, I shut the TV off and haven't watched a single minute of the NHL since.
Just like Football and Baseball, the NHL is DEAD to me. Fin.

Think of it as paying protection money. The BLM leadership is saying to the NHL, "say, you have a nice little tournament there. Be a shame if something happened to it . . ."
They couldn't make much of a ruckus in Edmonton, but they sure could in Toronto.
From a purely selfish perspective, my Av's are a little beat up and could use a couple of days for players to heal.
