The BEST thing you can do is get trained on what you can do. CCW courses, unarmed courses and similar. Learn the law or be subjected to it.
Remember: These rioters have allies high up in government. You do not. They will roast you alive as an example to others if they can do so.
Do not initiate a confrontation, be familiar enough with the specifics of the law that you know the immediate response to any given situation. That is the only way you can truly protect yourself and those you love.
This type of activism isn’t for me; for others it is.
What I’m wondering is if thousands of militia show up and cops try to arrest say 50 people who move through a massive crowd and the cops can’t get to them even just because of the sheer number blocking them, what will come of it?
“Remember: These rioters have allies high up in government. You do not.”
Very good point
And, get some kind of self defense insurance. Now.
That bears repeating. Occasionally the Democrats in power align themselves with mobs who attack their opponents. The goal is to terrorize the public so that the Democrats can increase their power. We are seeing Democrats go after a young man defending himself from a mob attack in every way they can.
Instead of recognizing Kyle Rittenhouse was a victim of a mob attack the Democrats and their media allies attack him. The only difference from the past when Democrats in government did the same thing is that the mobs are now wearing black bandannas instead of white hoods.
I take a legal class at least once a year to try to keep current on chp laws. Even in CO it is difficult with different cities having slightly different laws. And ofc Denver. One point they make is just because you can legally shoot does not mean you should shoot.
