Right. But it should be noted that some of these Antifa types are STUPID enough to chase and attack someone carrying an AR15. Even after seeing some of their group shot. Do not assume they will back down because you have a rifle. They are fanatical enough to make you use it.

I’m definitely not opposed to people protecting themselves or others in the current situation, but I’m wondering if they are really thinking it through. If you take a gun out there, you better be prepared to use it, and suffer the consequences.
Thanks for you reply. I live in a Western Open Carry firearms state. Only concealed firearms must have a permit. Most people who live here are quite familiar with firearms and what they can do. Antifa had their own “Socialist Rifle Association” contingent armed with AKs and ARs.

When they marched through our town everyone on both sides knew the score, and what could happened if a single shot was fired or a single armed resident was approached to burn and loot his property. In my state if you are approached with malicious intent and “Reasonably Believe” your life,or an innocent third party’s life could be in danger you may shoot to kill.
We were not militia! Every man and woman was a resident property owner taking Defensive Action to protect their businesses, homes, and families. This is what decent people have always done from East of Eden on.
We need to rub the scales from our eyes and prepare for this fight that is being forced upon us. We are not a warlike people by nature and we have always stumbled into war reluctantly and unprepared. God has shown us such mercy and protected us when it seemed all could be lost. Then we buckled-down and did what we had to do to win.
This time the civil conflict we face will not be fought by great navies and armies sweeping across seas and continental battle fields with tens of millions following the flag into a decisive battle that will end the war.
Instead our enemy plans to destroy us in detail, community, by neighborhood, by home. There is no Private property ownership, including your home, under Marxism. This is same Marxist enemy that has always been there; slowly and patiently over the generations corrupting our Constitution, our cultural institutions ,legal and political systems, and even our right to practice our Worship and speak freely.
This is the same enemy that has come for us now. When General George Washington took his army to Valley Forge to spend the Winter of 1777-78 he had 12,000 soldiers with 400 women and children. During the fist months 2,000 died of disease. By Spring frostbite, exposure,and desertion had reduced Washington’s army to under 2,000 Soldiers.
These were the Winter Soldiers. They were the hard core of what was to become the victorious army that accepted the Surrender of British General Cornwallis at Boston years later. We are that generation for today. Winter Soldiers fighting without apology in defense of their nation, their Constitution and their homes cannot be beaten.
So, to hell with the prophets of Marxism,doom,national disrespect, guilt, and surrender. Let us stand-up together as men and women who love their Country,and their children, and fight!
