On an extraordinary day for the NBA, the Milwaukee Bucks boycotted Game 5 of their playoff series against the Orlando Magic in protest at the police shooting of Jacob Blake.
ESPN later reported that Wednesday’s other two playoff games – between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets; and the Portland Trail Blazers and the Los Angeles Lakers – had also been postponed. The games are expected to be rescheduled for a later date.

in a sane world, the Bucks would have simply have forfeited the game for not showing up ... by kow-towing to this nonsense, the NBA has now opened themselves to unlimited future extortion by their own teams ... it couldn’t have happened to a nicer bunch ...

I got past it many years ago. I remember when Kevin Garnet got something like 126 million over six years. I believe I figured it out that he would make about 60 thousand dollars a day each and every day for six years. .

Protesting the shooting of a Criminal ,makes no sense but the NBA has turned Criminal

NBA.. like all professional sports is done. Team owners and the leagues have lost the fight because they didn’t fight, they caved.
