I am not sure what he could have done. If he spoke out he would be vilified; they were attacking him with the ban. He is limited by state's rights to counter a state order - unless he could prove some unconstitutionality. If he could declare HCQ an OTC drug the states could still block its sale. He seems to be pursuing an investigation of some governors for responsibility for senior deaths in nursing homes.
IMHO DJT & the GOP should be hollering about the hate-mongering Dems hoping many people would die if it would hurt POTUS, also trumpeting all the divisiveness they are constantly preaching AND blaming POTUS for it! They are letting the Dems get away with that unchallenged.

I can tell you what I would do if I had someone that needed it—and I didn’t know about Quercetin as a substitute.
I would be going to court for an emergency order or threatening the doctor with a law suit if they didn’t do it. And I’d have all those studies and links to videos about how it really works.
PEOPLE need to learn that they are NOT sheep and object. You know that DERP rules are they have to tell you what they plan(sometimes ain’t plain on purpose). And if you don’t fight it and accept it-it’s ok. In their culture that is acceptance and agreement. spit.
