There is a story from when the Dodgers were still in Brooklyn that Sandy Koufax pitched a no-hitter in Philadelphia. Don Drysdale had taken the train back to New York. When he arrived there someone told him, "Koufax pitched a no-hitter." Drysdale's response was, "Did the Dodgers win?"

The Dodgers were notorious at that time for not scoring many runs.

Maybe that was the game you saw.
