If I'm honest, a few rare but notable times at work over my career I've uncorked Python lines and a co-worker finished the line. Most of the other people in the room had no idea what just happened. Things like "I'm invincible" may be met with "you're a loony."

Once when I was presenting at a conference, I asked if anyone knew what was the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow. Someone replied "African or European?" and my day was made.

Lately, I've taken to saying on conference calls "I don't want to go on the cart." Maybe that's too fresh for people. But hope springs eternal.
