Is this a solicitation from the Trump campaign, or from “a joint fundraising effort for Donald J. Trump for President and the Republican National Committee?”

Read the fine print and get back to us.

Just a side note: you know the calendar was sent out through the USPS, right? And that USPS workers have been caught, in the past, dumping mail in the trash, especially thing like Republican mailers, right?

I never believed those things either. and 7 to one? I wonder if President Trump knows about this...

Or... Do you know for sure this REALLY came from the Trump campaign, and not some scam?

Hmm...at the presidential level it doesn’t make much sense, does it?

At the Congressional level, perhaps. There are some fine candidates out there - but do they have a chance of winning? If they raise $X, big donors might come in and contribute more.

The response by D Rider is a very valid one regarding your calendar. The Postal Union and their workers are no fans of republicans and especially Conservatives and most especially President Trump or anyone associated with him.
This is the primary reason President Trump has been sounding the alarm regarding mail-in ballots.
The fact that postal workers are known to discard mail is not a myth. It is a stone-cold fact. Documented on more occasions than you can count.

The 5, 6, or 7 to 1 matching campaign is a product of the Vote Red committee. A joint venture of the RNC and the Trump reelection committee.
There are mega-donors that have committed to match at that level during a specific time period all small contributions received during a specific time period.

On a related note: How do I trust a link in a solicitation email? Does anyone have verified URLs and IP addresses for the Trump campaign, and any other good candidates? Thanks in advance.

I sent $35 and I’m supposed to get a pretty cool looking RWB/SS USA cap.

Our donations are better given to alternative media. RSBN. Justthenews.com etc. Know your enemy it is the mainstream media. Rtv

Matching funds at 700%, C'mon man.

If they have seven times the amount that they want you to pledge, what in the hell do they need with your single amount?

By encouraging the small contributor, the numbers go up and the average contribution goes down. No candidate wants to look like they are getting mega bucks from a few donors. I think the dems are going to have a much harder time.

If I am going to give the campaign $1 million, they will send something out say that I will match the next million dollars of donations.

It gets some folks thinking if they did not contribute money will be left on the table.

I never believed that.

It is a gimmic.

As a gimmic, it’s a good one. It amplifies the “big donor’s” resources. Some people are motivated to give, that otherwise wouldn’t be.
