I do it very easily. After ask where the money’s going. If I don’t like the cashier’s answer, I take a moment to respectfully explain why I’m saying no. I’ve actually had strangers come up to me and thank me for that.
Sigh.
Sometimes I pretend I don’t hear them and just ignore them. They sometimes do it anyways.............
