The “real” cab drivers don’t necessarily know where you want to go either.

Most are right off the boat from Afghanistan or Zimbabwe or someplace. Remember the old comic’s line, “Welcome to Washington, D.C., where both you and your cab driver will be seeing the city for the first time!”

Lyft- they all have GPS and locate you using your phone. Also the cars are cleaner because the people use their own vehicles.

Most drivers work for Lyft to earn extra money. They like the independence of choosing what hours they want to work exc..

It's a great service, runs efficiently, and both the employees, and the public, enjoy it.

So naturally the government has to barge in with its big Jack Boot and destroy it. 😒
