Lol. Yes!
I still remember my sister and I lying in the back of my father’s green Ford Station wagon while he drove down the Long Island Expressway. We made fun of the people behind us, by humming funny music referring to the way they looked, were driving and us laughing like crazy about it.
Seatbelts? We didn’t need no stinking seatbelts.

You didn't need no steenkin' gas mileage, either. What's that, an epileptic- I mean a catalytic converter? Yank that damn thing out of there, it's just choking off the exhaust manifolds. LOL When I was a kid, the old man had a full size Chrysler Town & Country station wagon that got about three gallons to the mile. (Literally.) Cream colored, I think it was a '72. Last year before the feds started imposing mandatory smog controls on battleships that big. I could have lived inside that thing. Two-way door/tailgate that opened sideways or dropped down, power everything, and wood grain everywhere. I mean outside wood trim as well. He had it parked at work one evening when a storm blew through, and it took a lightning strike. Nothing electrical worked right on it afterwards. He'd be driving home, and the headlights or windshield wipers would come on by themselves. The tailgate or door windows would randomly open and close. He had over half the wiring harness replaced in that thing, and the dealer still couldn't get it to cooperate, so he sold it to some sucker- um, private buyer. He went out and bought a Buick Le Sabre. There was another marina yacht. The old man loved his big cars. It was funny to see him finally downsize and buy a Chevy Chevette. He looked like a big kid in an amusement park bumper car. By then I'd graduated up to a big 4 door Buick Regal with a V6. I think he had inadequacy issues for a while after that.
