Even the prosecutor in Portland will have a hard time dropping these charges. In my jurisdiction it would be attempted murder. There? Who knows.

I’d be surprised on this one. You can’t let this go. It’s dereliction of duty and forcing people to take action on their own.

Maybe, but he already vowed to prosecute this case. Since he is newly elected and this case is so egregious I think he might follow through and prosecute.
