For those that missed it. An inverse relationship between smoking and COVID-19

Sixty years of Camel non-filters say I'm golden but be careful with this little factoid. I found teens don't necessarily equate smoking with tobacco.

Quit smoking in 1984, 10 years of 1 Pack/day.
Why:
- It lost its allure to me
- Wanted to live long enough to enjoy my grands
- Tired of the Spring/Summer bouts of bronchitis

The bronchitis thing may have worked for me in my COVID experience.
I knew what on-set felt like and knew that broad spectrum anti-biotic stopped it in its tracks.
The severely inflamed sinuses told me that this was different and it was COVID.
So, Keflex, Decongestant, Tylenol and Vapo-Rub.
Symptoms were gone in 5 days and then 2 days of lingering malaise.
So, smoking may have helped me.
