What do you make of this? Speculation, deliberate discouragement by the MSM, or actual bummer?

The higher you go in any organization the more it takes to hold them truly accountable, there is too much wiggle room, too many ways to find scapegoats, too much plausible deniability. That’s why corporate CEOs usually aren’t held accountable while underlings fall on their swords. Here we have the worst case scenario where these people working in the deep state wrote the rules we’d like to hold them accountable for, and it’s not like they came to work one day and said “Hey, I know! Let’s re-write our rules and policies to really hold our feet to the fire if we ever get caught doing the kind of stuff we do everyday!”.

Federal laws are weak - why? Well, who makes them? And for how long has Congress and the administrative state been in the mutual self-preservation business? Unless they can nail Brennan, Comey, Clapper, Hillary, etc with hard evidence that they themselves personally did something illegal, they’re gonna walk. However they will have to live under a cloud, not as the heros and sages they see themselves as. The loss of reputation, ego, and legacy will be more punitive to people like them than most of us can imagine.

And who knows, it ain’t over til it’s over, we’ll see what happens. But Trump has been very clear about “this can never happen to another President”. He means exactly that, he wants to fix the system, implement strong policies, and put new laws with strong penalties in place. As he’s done all along, he will take the slings and arrows in order to make America Great Again for future leaders who follow in his footsteps.

I don’t believe anything from “anonymous sources”.

That he is agreeing to meet with Durham is a bad sign. Any defense attorney worth his salt would not allow that, and if subpoenaed, would order him to plead the 5th.

Here's the money quote: "a lawyer familiar with the situation told NPR"

The war is real. The news is fake.

I'm going 70/30 Brennan is among the first indictments.
