It’s just the flu, bro.

The NY surge in CV cases was about 3-4 months ago. They have virtually no more new coronavirus deaths there anymore. Yet they have a lockdown in place. Does this mean that Texas, Florida and California, which are all having their surge in CV now, will also still have a lockdown in November and December?

-

Sick of CV checks going out to people. If they want to get money they should earn it. This massive deficit leads to inflation and reduced purchasing power for everyone. It is essentially a tax by another name. It is up to Trump to cut people off. Then they will clamor for the economy to open up instead of sitting home doing nothing. This will help Trump in the long run. And I am sick of the trust Trump’s plan crowd - there is triangulation and politics that go on in his planning and if his base (us) advise him to do something hard enough it CHANGES HIS PLAN for the better.

Texas is now going back down.

This thing is over. Following these daily death numbers is like following daily traffic accident numbers. I feel like the guy following daily stock market prices a month after a big crash. It’s been business as usual for a long time now but I’m still checking.

The only thing left to do is cancel all lockdowns, social distancing and mask requirements. We’ll see how long it takes democrat governors and mayors to do that.

Sadly, rioters are going to have to go back to work.

Kerry sails to victory

On Saturday, former Secretary of State John Kerry won the highly competitive Venona Trophy at Edgartown Race Weekend’s 82nd ’Round-the-Island Race, after a noteworthy comeback.

Kerry, a seasonal Chilmark resident, sailed with his team of five on his Alden Cutter 44 Lark, which was originally built in 1932 and recently relaunched after some work. Kerry and his team were squeezed out at the start of the race, and forced to circle back and restart behind the eight other boats in his class division. However, over the course of the 54.7-nautical-mile race, the crew found brief breaths of air to make up for lost time.

By the race’s completion, Kerry and his team posted the best corrected time from among all entrants in the Spinnaker Division. “Some of it was luck being in the right place; there are all sorts of variables in sailboat racing, and they were all at play here,” Kerry was quoted as saying in the Edgartown Yacht Club press release.

snip

During the Virtual Awards Ceremony, Kerry praised the Edgartown Yacht Club for being able to hold the annual regatta during the COVID-19 pandemic. “The club did a brilliant job,” Kerry said. “Thoughtful and well executed, without onerous but, nevertheless, clear restraints.”

Yet another medal! The swift boat wins the race with proper rigging....ask a Democrat how to mask it.

Towing a Global Citizen behind the Lark was just showing off under those wind conditions though.   Kudos to you both.

“It is up to Trump to cut people off. Then they will clamor for the economy to open up instead of sitting home doing nothing.”

Maybe half of them. Sadly, many of them are lazy bums and are happy to never go to work again.

Like you, I am “sick of CV checks going out to people”.

The enemy are the *obstructionists* to President Trump’s plan. Don’t lose focus.

If you don’t believe he is doing everything he can while being fired on from all sides, or have lost confidence in him or believe he is incompetent, then there is an election this November to change things for the better.

I learned yesterday that General "Mad Dog" Mattis supports the Constitutional rights of peaceful protesters and encouraged his neighbors to obey his local hometown health official Dr. Amy Person's guidelines to wear masks during the Covid pandemic.

"Washington Governor Jay Inslee and Dr. Amy Person, our local Health Officer, have both issued face covering directives in our community. Citizens are required to wear them while in public to help stop the spread of COVID-19."

She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed her residency at Medical College of Wisconsin. She has spent her career in pediatrics until relocating to the Tri-Cities, where she became the Benton-Franklin Health District Officer in 2011. Amy is also the President of the Washington State Public Health Association.

PAST-PRESIDENT

"Dr. Amy Person has been the Health Officer for the Benton-Franklin Health District since 2011. Prior to joining BFHD, she was a primary care pediatrician in Milwaukee, WI for 18 years, working with teen mothers and inner city families. Recognizing the impact of health disparities on the lives of her own patients, she pursued a career in public health to better address prevention and the social determinants of health at the population level"

COVID-19 Information

The following information regarding COVID-19 is being provided as a resource for Hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities and Family Members as to the role of the Benton County Coroner’s Office in a COVID-19 related death.

Hospitals:

·  Known COVID-19 Deaths do not need to be reported to the Coroner

·  COVID-19 Deaths should be reported to the Benton-Franklin Health District

· The Benton County Coroner’s Office will not perform autopsies on COVID-19 Deaths, OSHA and others have recommended that autopsies not be performed in COVID-19 Deaths. Cases with extenuating circumstances will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

·  The Washington State Department of Health has issued guidelines for completing death certificates in these deaths

·  Report other cases, as usual, to the coroner’s office such as drug overdoses, motor vehicle collision deaths, and suicides, etc.

Family Members:

·  OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) recommends that autopsies not be performed on people who are known to have died from COVID-19, such as people who die in the hospital and have a positive COVID-19 test

·  The coroner’s office does not perform COVID-19 testing on all deceased persons, but will review each death on a case-by-case basis to determine the necessity of a COVID-19 test.

·  The coroner’s office is screening each death reported to us by obtaining information about their symptoms before death: (travel, fever, coughing, shortness of breath and other flu-like symptoms)

·  Coroner investigators investigate natural deaths that occur in private residences.  If a person dies at home and has symptoms typical of COVID-19, testing for Coronavirus may be performed, at the discretion of the Benton County Coroner's Office on a case-by-case basis.

·  The coroner’s office is primarily involved with deaths that are suicides, homicides, or accidents.  Natural deaths, such as COVID-19 deaths, that occur in a medical facility or skilled nursing facility, ordinarily are not under Coroner’s jurisdiction

Nursing Homes:

·   Do not report all your deaths to the Coroner during the pandemic

·   In patients who are known to have COVID-19 because of a positive test, the death does not need to be reported to the Coroner’s Office, however all such deaths (positive for COVID-19) are to be reported to the Benton-Franklin Health District

·   It is presumed that since Nursing Home patients have a physician of record, that physician will sign the death certificate

·   During the COVID-19 pandemic, continue to report deaths to the Coroner as per policy, reporting accidents, and other non-natural deaths

·   For deaths that are suspected, but undiagnosed COVID-19 deaths, with typical symptoms, contact the Benton-Franklin Health District for guidance.

Transcript of internal debate at the CDC:

Fauci: Hey, guess what? We did it! We finally forced them all to wear masks!

Redfield: You’re kidding?

Birx: No f**king way!

Adams: Even POTUS?

Fauci: Yes, even POTUS, he finally caved!

Birx: Cool! So Tony, what do we do now?

Fauci: First I think I’ll show up at a baseball game NOT wearing one, just so I can lord it over everybody how we are the ones who are really superior to them.

Redfield: That would be AWESOME! But once you’ve done that what are we ever going to do to top this?

Fauci: That’s easy....goggles! Face shields!

Adams: ooooooh....I like the way you think Tony!

Fauci: Twelve hours after I’m done giving my interview to
CNN the lawn and garden shelves at Home Depot are
gonna look like the toilet paper section at Target
in April.

Birx: If we can make them wear masks AND shields, why, we
can make them wear ANYTHING!

Fauci: Yes, indeed. Ankle bracelets, cowboy hats,
those silk disco shirts that went out of style in 1979, handcuffs lined with fur...

Adams: Ballgags? Please please PLEASE can we do ballgags?

Fauci: No, Jerome, no one would ever see them under the
masks.

Redfield: I know....let’s make them wear their underwear
on the OUTSIDE! I saw that one in a movie once.
It was hilarious!

Birx: I don’t know. Wearing my bra on the outside? The
Playtex Pretty Petite #304 clashes with most of my
scarves.

Fauci: All in favor.....

1,311 “Covid Deaths” (if accurately reported) for the day.

Average daily deaths due to heart disease is over 1,600 per day.

161,601 Dead

161,601 X $39,000,00 = $6,302,439,000.00.

That is 6.3+ BILLION Dollars that uncle sugar {you and me via taxes} pays to every hospital that "claims" chi-com virus deaths of patients.

That death number is so pimped up, that it is not even close to reality.

You can post every bullshit number that you want, at least you have not posted that horrid family portrait {your wife was really ugly} for a few days.

Sadly I think you are right. This episode has conditioned a large number of people to think that socialism isn’t all that bad.

“They use their government handout to load-up on booze, cigarettes, and take-out, then they go home and stream porn all day” as an astute FReeper noted.

I have a neighbor who has been on disability doing the same thing for years, so I’m afraid it’s an accurate assessment.

Even the infamous Dr. Redfield at the CDC has finally been forced to acknowledge that there is a financial incentive to overcount.

I still believe that when his base voices strongly in a certain direction, which may be slightly different than the direction Trump himself is voicing, that it helps Trump.
