I dumped TV in 1997. It drastically improved the quality of my life. I became a bass player. I’ve been in over a dozen bands running every type of music except hip-hop. I lost 55 lbs. I did the Seattle to Portland 200 mile bicycle ride in one day, every year for several years. My income went up substantially.
And because I don’t have TV, I pull all my news. I’ve never seen a PSA on the virus or wearing a mask. For me the BLM and virus stuff is something that happens, “somewhere else”. I have no control over it. I just carry a gun in my car for whatever bad character tries to harm me, and I have a free costco mask that I cut a bunch of slits in so that I can breathe, for when someone requires me to wear a mask to be on their property.
Other than that, I’m good.

My wife could not believe it when I cut our cable 3 years ago in July, and I/we have not watched any news, pro football/basketball and now MLB aka BLM backwards.
BLM, Antifa, Covid will all go away in November

I have not had tv come across the cable since the bad ending of season 8 Game of Thrones.
I dropped some youtube channels when they went woke, with the following: “You just crapped on every dead non-black GI’s grave, who died for every citizen’s freedom in America.”
It’s everywhere. I was following a MLB game on MLB.com Gameday (which basically amounts to an online play by play of the game). They play commercials between innings, including a BLM one. I turned it off.

Ads cost money - big money. Aren’t the feds even a little curious who pays for the ads, bricks, gasoline and baseball bats?
