Will any elections board require those that decline the mail-in ballot to destroy/shred them?
I hope they don’t say, “mail them back to us unmarked”.
What WILL become of all those declined ballots “automatically” mailed?

I’m thinking my original post may be unclear. All I have received from LA County Registrar is a 6-sided oversized Post card from Registrar. Basically all it tells me is I can get a future ballot in 1 of 18 languages and asks “have you moved lately.” Nowhere to respond except to call a phone number to re-register if I choose.
So my point is this all looks like a big waste of money and my feeling is it may be some kind of test mailing for Nov to see which of these come back undelivered. That’s all.
