Federalize the Guard to work the polls for the election, collect the ballots.
That’s gonna be an easy one for the courts.
States can hold election in any manner they see fit.
Unless the Constitution is suspended.
And that’s how Trump stops election fraud in its tracks.
Xone - I’ve had a sneaky idea. Make the post offices the polling places. Federal property so no problem having the marines and the FBI there.
Chain of custody of ballots is only a part of the problem.
And maintain custody of the ballots.
I'd be OK even if they counted the ballots. Either that or stand and watch as both Party's County/City Committee members jointly count the ballots. (checks and balances)
They could then turn the results over to the election clerk, and keep the ballots for a certain time period.....Lock box.
The absentee ballots should be counted at the same time......NO late ballots.
