Two new studies, though from different parts of the world, have arrived at the same conclusion: that young children not only transmit SARS-CoV-2 efficiently, but may be major drivers of the pandemic as well.
The first, which was published in JAMA yesterday, reports findings from a pediatric hospital in Chicago, Illinois. The second, a preprint manuscript awaiting peer review, was conducted in the mountainous province of Trento, Italy.
The Chicago study examines the concentration of the SARS-CoV-2 in the nasopharynx, or the upper region of the throat that connects to the nasal passages, of children and adults. According to the results, children 5 years and younger who develop mild to moderate Covid-19 symptoms have 10 to 100 times as much SARS-CoV-2 in the nasopharynx as older children and adults.

Solution: Transfer funds from public schools to homes for home schooling. If there is excess, give it back to the taxpayers. But if we did that, the libs would reverse themselves and call for children to be back in school.

Throughout the history of mankind, he has dealt with corona viruses. This is another one. Throughout the history of mankind events and phenomena have led to periods of more of mankind dying more quickly than usual. Sometimes it goes on for a long time, sometimes a medium amount of time, sometimes a short time.
Usually when such things have happened there is a mix of facts, lying and outright hysteria and hypnosis. Usually in hind site the sheer level of lying and hysteria is remarkable, regardless of how hearty the seed of truth.
This is one of those times. Breath easy. You might get very sick and die, but much more probably not, and SO much more probably than not, that it would be wiser to put more attention into your awareness when driving or stepping onto a train, and almost everything that boosts your immune system is good for you and entails forming a good habit. Better to focus on that than reading fear porn about facts or lies you have no control over.
If someone susceptible, there are probably proactive steps one should be taking ANYWAY in their daily habits merely to make their life better, much less protect against this particular hysteria-around-a-seed-of-truth.
For the VAST majority of humans, the mantra should be "don't waste the Covid." For the rest -> just be as careful as possible.
