In the late 70's there was a war waged by US govt. officials(experts) against the traditional American breakfast(bacon & eggs).

It extended well through the 80’s too.

Cholesterol is ESSENTIAL for brain and nerve health. Don’t let any quacks tell you otherwise.

“Cholesterol hoax” - bingo! That’s killed more than coronavirus could ever hope to kill. How the faux medical establishment is trying to let that hoax slip silently away while still pushing Lipitor amazes me. The Fauci-type experts and their universities and the pharmaceutical companies should be sued out of existence.

And saccarin in lieu of sugar.

Cook mine the same.
Sometimes I put brown sugar and cracked black pepper on top for a sweet and savory taste. Just don’t burn it and let the sugar cool some before eating. Make 2 pans because I always eat one pan while doing the rest of breakfast. Yummy.

I’ve got five, 18 week old chickens in the coop out back. Expecting eggs any day now and am looking forward to it.

Oh man, you are in for a treat. Once you taste a fresh egg hot off of the coop, you will never go back.

Give them plenty of protein and love and you will be forever thankful.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Nowadays the enemy is trans-fat which is found in bran muffins which used to be the healthy thing to eat.

Would Fauci have been involved in the “eat less egss* thing in the 1970’s? He was already in the government payroll by then...

I sure do.

And yet, here we all are, and now eggs are good for you.

And I’m supposed to trust the government when it gives me advice about COVID and vaccines????

I’ve been eating eggs — and bacon — for most of my life: I turn 70 next year. I am very active, my BMI is normal, and if I die tomorrow I’ve still lived a very good life (lots of hard work, but isn’t that what it’s all about?).

They pushed margarine for decades as healthier than butter. I never believed it because even in the 70s I knew that hydrogenating the vegetable oil made it much worse than animal fat.

eggs were bad, salt was bad, cereal was bad, grains were bad, beef was bad, anything bbq'ed was cancer inducing, milk bad, cream bad, potatoes bad, butter bad, bad, coffee bad, and then all of a sudden things became good again until they were bad again....

moderation in all things...

You are correct in all your eating habits, .gov has been responsible for thousands of premature deaths in their “ guidelines” since the 70’s.

I remember way back when the Surgeon General said that wearing a mask was more dangerous than not wearing one...

One of the things [the general public] shouldn’t be doing is going out and buying masks … It has not been proven to be effective in preventing the spread of coronavirus amongst the general public … Folks who don’t know how to wear them properly tend to touch their faces a lot, and actually can increase the spread of coronavirus. You can increase your risk of getting it by wearing a mask if you are not a healthcare provider.
Oh, wait, that was this spring.

LOL! “Remember! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!”

What a scam that is, just to sell cereal, now I generally don't eat until 1 PM. The fact is, humans aren't supposed to consume three meals a day, much less all the in-between snacking, that's a major reason for the explosion of diabetes.

But if you eat like a field hand but go to work in a cubicle, well you will soon fit the cubicle...

...or not fit in the cubicle.

Use to drive my wife crazy because as a bodybuilder I was consuming a dozen raw eggs per day during much of the 70's... Didn't stop until the first protein supplements (awful!) came onto the market...

Never had a cholesterol problem and still kicking as my 87th birthday approaches this November...
