thought this might be of interest (if you didnt know it already). Studies suggest Quercitin acts as a zinc ionophore similar to HCQ and gets the zinc inside the cell. Nice way to get around the prescription problem with HCQ.

Yes, Dr. Scheult -Med Cram- on You tube early on explained that Quercetin acted as an ionophore. He also gave his own regemime for prevention-as he was treating CV patients. So I’m just posting it here for informational purposes-standard disclosure applies-check with your doctor.
Quercetin - 250mg-1g twice /day
Zinc- up to 50 mg/day —but not long term-this is the max dose
Green Tea - 1 pill /day
Vit. C - 250-500 mg twice per day
Vit. D3 - Stop taking this if you get CV.
Melatonin - 1-10 mg/day—good sleep is one of the most important for recovering and fending off viruses-per studies.

I think we need to consider what doses we get from our food as well - I drink 8 oz OJ every day, which puts me well on my way to getting my vitamin C. Add an apple or other fruit and you have adequate. Not saying a supplement doesn’t help - it does. Same with zinc. My pills provide 22 mg per day, but I also get a good amount from eating meat, beans, nuts, etc.
Vitamin D - not always as present in food, though sunlight (and Milk) are great sources. I do get 50 mcg in my multivitamin supplement. Interesting that he does not recommend Vit D3 if you have the Rona.
Melatonin - I use it when I’m working Day shift, 1 or 3 mg size only. I think it’s best to start low and increase if needed. If 1 mg does the trick, no use using more. When I’m on night shift or off, I almost never take a sleep supplement. But if I’m having a hard time sleeping, I won’t hesitate.
