As far as vitamins, I’m taking Nature’s Way ALIVE! daily vitamins, the one designed for men over 50.

I chose it because it has an abundance of vitamin D (250% of DV) and Zinc (200% of DV). Keep in mind that many foods provide zinc (meat, beans, seeds, nuts, shellfish), and if you drink a lot of milk, you’ll get a good amount of vitamin D there also. I prefer a good single-source supplement to taking many different mega-vitamins.

I do not know what vitamins are the best quality because its something I haven’t really studied until lately. I know that some are prone to not breaking down adequately in the stomach, and maybe some aren’t as thorough as others. I basically went off the label as far as what was included.
