I may have been out for 20 years, but I’d say she’s a prime candidate for the ‘fat-girl’ program. As for the behavior...I’d ask her to come in...recite her enlistment ‘oath’, and ask if there’s a problem. If she can’t perform her duty....process the discharge paperwork.

It used to take (in the 1990s) two or three months to process people like this out. I think in the past twenty years...they’ve gotten this down to seven days.

Her commanding officers are unsure what prompted the confrontation and are now investigating, according to Navy Times.

Oh please. They know exactly why. She is probably just another woke MOFO, never Trumper. There are some in the military now. I was in the USAF for 20 years. I knew at least 3 active duty USAF enlisted guys, who were actively cheering for the North Vietnamese to win.
I hope they just process her for discharge.

Odds are good she is on "maternity duty". Likely got pregnant while on sea duty and was reassigned to Naval Base Ventura. I have had to take in quite few like her over the years. Some were great, many were little more than an administrative burden. Odds are also pretty good that this will not end well for her.

Thank you for your service. Regretfully I didn't serve. I'm not unfamiliar with the military however. I dunno... just something about this kid looks odd. The uniform doesn't look like a good fit. Maybe that's just the way she's wearing it but that face. Kinda looks a tad on the Down Syndrome side.

It is not fun for a job applicant to explain to the interviewer the reason for a dishonorable discharge...

I know fat floats but even for the Navy, this one seems out of weight and body fat standards.

The Navy will make no move now due to politics but her performance reports will usher her out the door when her service commitment is up.
