I’ve been watching this for a while - if you go to the 6:03 mark you’ll see the video is being manipulated as the 3rd red crane from the left disappears and reappears. It is either on a loop or being edited prior to going out.

I’m guessing they are editing prior and this is probably a day or so back. The CCP would never allow real time broadcast of something that could potentially (likely iMHO) fail.

I was just thinking about the Cat 5 Dorian that hit the Bahamas about a year ago. That was a scary storm, but thankfully it weakened and was not too destructive to the East Coast.

Been grabbing random comments and putting them in Google translate. About half of them are saying the dam is fine. The rest are calling Taiwanese frogs, hoping the floods sink Japan, and Koreans just insulting everyone.

Looks like a splice from 06:02:59 to 06:03:10. A couple of the red towers in back change positions. I think this is spliced film, not live.

I’ve been reading the live feed. People keep posting that President Xi says the dam will collapse today. I guess that is probably not true that he said that?
