I won’t quibble with his opinions, but I will argue that anyone who thinks polls - regardless of whether they show Trump up or down - are a fair and objective sample of voter intent, is mistaken.

Polls are numbers. I have a the tools on my computer to make any poll say anything you want, it’s called an algorithm and a random number generator.

There are no “peer reviews” of polls. No one to say whether they even polled anyone! Yet conservatives accept them as gospel - I don’t understand it. Have we learned nothing from Q about researching and validating data sources?

Faking a poll is childs play. Faking the internals and cross tabsa is no harder than the rest, just algos and randomization so analysis will be unable to detect a pattern of fakery. If Obama could create a composite girlfriend, a pollster can use stochasitc models to create a composite voter - or a whole fleet of them.

I was convinced since before 2016 that polls have become tools for manipulating and influencing voter behavior, not sampling and reporting it. Polls are fantastically easy to fabricate and the cost is virtually zero, why would the left NOT fake polls when they fake the news, fake data, fabricate what the President says and does, and lie about everything else? Especially when there are NO checks and balances, no peer reviews, no open sourcing, no transparency of their process. Sure they put out “poll results” but I’m talking about the process used to get those results - which so many seem content to accept come from a legitimate scientific sampling - I claim they are manufactured in a C++ program.

As I said, I’m not going to argue with LS or anyone else who feels it’s worth their time to delve into the maths, as far as I’m concerned it’s as futile as arguing about the flatness of the earth because the whole thing is based on a fundamentally incorrect assumption.

I HAVE A QUESTION FOR ALL FREEQS -

My landline with comcast AND my cell phone with Verizon “block” spam calls.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Comcast shows the number briefly on my tv screen but kills the call after 1 ring.
I often see the number is from the 202 area codes or “RNC” before it disappears.
Now, IF they can prove that it is a scan/spam call, great.
But I am now assuming that they are blocking all calls from DJT and fundraisers.
~~~~~~~~~

Verizon allows plenty of spam calls through but also blocks area code #s from 202, or “Washington DC”. I am now assuming that they block all DJT calls.

and maybe even just Polling co calls. I used to get a lot of polling calls.

DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THE SAME EXPERIENCES?

Is there a way to get a copy of the blocked calls from Comcast to send to the RNC????

I don’t know anyone who thinks that polls are a fair and objective sample of anything. It would be just about as informative as consulting a horoscope.
