The NBA's new 'Black Lives Matter' court paint and socially distanced bench chairs have been unveiled at Disney World in Orlando as the league prepares to restart its season next week amid the coronavirus pandemic. ESPN's Malika Andrews posted pictures on social media from inside the NBA's bubble, which is aimed at keeping players and staff safe from the outbreak while 22 of the 30 league teams attempt to finish the 2019-2020 season. The paint job had previously been reported, but had gone unseen until Tuesday. Players will also have the option of having social justice messages, like 'Black Lives Matter,' emblazoned on the backs of their jerseys.

That’s it for basketball. The high salaries will dry up as lots of white fans decide they’ve had it. They’ve killed the golden goose.
My dad was a huge sports fan; he must be turning over in his grave. My sister and I went with him and his friends to every Chicago sports team event. That buzzer sound at the end of a quarter still makes me sleepy (Pavlovian response, LOL!).
Anyway, politics were never an issue. It was about fun and competition between cities and just relaxing.
If you can’t get two or three hours free from the cr*p that is going on in the U.S. today, well, then basketball and any other sport that engages in activist stuff like this is dead.
Perhaps Americans will turn to hockey as an alternative. It’s a great sport and winning the Stanley Cup is a real achievement.

The NBA is a sudsidiary of the Chinese Communist Party. More Chinese will watch these games than Americans.
Will the “peaceful protesters” be near these murals in cities like Portland, Cleveland, LA, Detroit, Chicago to start blocking the court the way they block traffic?
Who watches these overpaid, semi-literate, arrogant thugs play their game? Only those who have no respect for Free America. I hope the league goes out of business.

NFL, NBA, MLB. It looks like professional sports are committing suicide. I’m okay with them making that choice. Maybe the thugs who play a children’s game can now get real, productive jobs.
