Well I think I have been made invisible on Twitter. No notice but those not already following me apparently cant see my account.
Like election night. We are not really resilient enough here to stay up if they really want us down.

And when the truth becomes unbearable for the enemy, we just accept that they will take us down?
Perhaps we should discuss an alternate to Facebook...I mean, really, Facebook can take us down? I dont think so.
See post #1458:
Block chains are browser extensions that block people en masse according to whatever criteria you set.

You can get up to a million pretty quickly.
Here’s a real simple definition of blockchain:
“A blockchain is, in the simplest of terms, a time-stamped series of immutable records of data that is managed by a cluster of computers not owned by any single entity. Each of these blocks of data (i.e. block) is secured and bound to each other using cryptographic principles (i.e. chain).”
So your understanding is correct, and while it started out with bitcoin it’s got applications to almost any kind of transaction processing. One party initiates the process by creating a block which is verified by thousands, perhaps millions of computers distributed around the net. It then becomes part of a chain that is stored across the net, creating not just a unique record, but a unique record with a unique history. This makes it impossible to falsify a record because the record would be false across the entire chain in millions of instances, not just one. Complete transparency and security. (Sounds like something we could use for voting, maybe?)
Point is, that ditz was just throwing the word out with no clue what it means. She was mad because she had to delete blocks of tweets or whatever, and wanted to sound smart.
An EMP is, as it's name implies, a strong magnetic burst. We build faraday cages to build an anti-magnetic shield around vulnerable objects, like electronics. If a tiny box with a few small wires would do the same job we would all look rather foolish building large magnetic shields.
As for lightning, take it from me, someone who has been hit by lightning; these small gap conductors are helpful up to a point. Over a proper voltage at an adequate current, lightning will go wherever it wants looking for a strong ground in order to discharge itself. The power company attaches no guarantees as to the effectiveness of its devices. Some surge protection companies, like Tripp Lite, guarantee to pay for equipment being protected if damaged; they can handle a pretty fair load. The few strong hits they cannot block they will pay off; it is good advertising. My antenna tower and my solar tower are well grounded.
I still get a bit of engagement on twitter.
I think I have been made invisible HERE.
You know what, I listened to that whole thing, and the only indictments he had were the Householder thing. Pretty thin gruel for the headline.
their goal is to overcome their ineptness with massive voter fraud.
No, that is not the definition on twitter..
See my previous posts above. People on twitter use the term all the time to refer to browser extensions and other technical means to mass-block certain categories of twitter users.
TAP TAP, is this mic on?????????????????
Same here.
It was not worded in an offensive way at all.
Yeah it seems to me that is the way we get them. Criminal prosecution. Because they’re all on the take or under the thumb of somebody else. If we can’t enforce the law on them, we’re toast.
nite
Oh my God I can totally see W Booosh in Broke Back Mountain. I never saw the movie, but I can see him in it. Ah cain’t quit’cha. Awww.
Nope. I see you. On the Chrissy Teigen “block chain,” I think she meant chain block. I don’t know how to get to it, but there’s supposedly a feature on twitter where you can block not only an account, but anyone who follows that account. So, yeah, if she blocks four or five big accounts and their followers, she could go over a million, easy.
My guess is that she may tell some people what to tweet sometimes, but there’s somebody actually running the account for her. That person is probably twitter savvy.
OTOH, I think Cher runs hers, cause yeah, she’s that warped.

“This Tweet is from a suspended account.”
Not invisible. Thanks for the info about blockchain. I don’t do social media, just FR.
