MSNBC’s Joy Reid has two notable developments this week. She was named as the new nightly anchor to replace Chris Matthews and was lost a major appeal in a defamation lawsuit tied to her prior position.
Reid has a history of controversial statement including her insistence that her posts on her blog with homophobic comments were fabricated by hackers. She later apologized for the postings that she claimed that she made. She acknowledged “I can definitely understand, based on things I have tweeted and have written in the past, why some people don’t believe me.” She was sued in one of the most notorious postings on social media by Roslyn La Liberte, a Trump supporter, who was trashed by Reid for comments that she never made and an account that proved to be untrue

When the first Gay Rights Platform of demands was put together in, iirc, 1970 (i have it someplace), it was quite long and many have been acheived. The very last one was “Repeal of ALL age of consent laws”. It’s always been about access to children, whether by homos or the regular hedonist anything-goes crowd.

Reply to whom? {incontrovertible evidence of Bob's derpyness :) } Also, if I 'reply' to each text msg, won't they just change the source name/code? These msgs come from endless phone numbers and names. Sometimes I figure out how to delete all of the msgs with one choice, but often I have to work thru them one by one. {What a klutz! Imagine me on a smart phone!}
I am curious. Have others here avoided medical visits in the past months? I mean for things you might have gone for under normal circumstances.
I had a bad fall last Saturday. Bad enough that I would have gone to ER. I waited till Monday and called my orthopedic doc. Before xrays or MRI they require Covid test. I said no. Just not going thru that. I’ve been resting 5 days and am finally able to walk ok with my walker today but still hurts. I figure if I’m moving and not screaming I’ll make it.

Probably hoarders. The same reason toilet paper disappeared. Rubbing alcohol is still virtually impossible to find.
