As a former Redskins fan through the long lean years and the Joe Gibbs era up until Dan Snyder, I suggest dropping the Washington name as well.
DC Kangz (as in “We wuz Kangz!”) or just do away with any reference to Washington or the District of Columbia, that white woman atop the Capitol dome.

Additionally the Redskins fight song, “Hail to the Redskins” needs to be dropped as the devoted fans formerly and famously known as The Hoggettes, a new group, “The Kangz Gang” could be formed.
OTH, the LBGT confusion may force a pass on Hoggettes as they were a very vocal burly cross-dressing dressing group....depends on the hierarchy of the wretched downtrodden.
