SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) A 30-year-old COVID-19 patient at a San Antonio hospital has died after reportedly attending a COVID party.
Dr. Jane Appleby, Chief Medical Officer at Methodist Hospital, said shes sharing the heartbreaking story, not because she wants to be an alarmist, but because she wants the community to know that the virus is serious and it can spread easily.

From weasel-wording from hell in the article, I assume the actual cause of death is multiple gunshot wounds.
We’re the *Crintons there? Could explain a few things.
...and this is why it’s prudent to wear a mask for the time being. It reduces the chances of contracting the virus, or spreading it yourself if you are a carrier.
What weasel wording? If you read the article, you’ll see that there are other young patients in the same hospital.
Like mac and cheese, COVID parties are not just for kids anymore. They are for fools of all ages.
A few paragraphs down:
“Appleby warns that people with hypertension, diabetes and obesity are at a higher risk for suffering severe complications from the COVID virus.”
Nation of land whales who live on high fructose corn syrup and soy. All just signs of our great prosperity or something.
If you read the article it specifically refuses to state the actual cause of death.
Reasonable presumption: gunshot wounds.
Proof not anecdotes?
And/or overdose.
What were his co-morbitities? What had him on the ledge till Rona pushed him off?
Not true.
I didn’t see any weasel wording although there could have been more detail.
This virus is dangerous because it’s so unpredictable. Some don’t know they ever had it and others die in a short time.
A hospital nurse told me about a nurse in NY who ran into a patient’s room, because patient was coding, and the nurse didn’t wait to put on her protective equipment because she wanted to save the patient. The NY nurse died 7 days later.
The nurse who was telling me this said she thinks it’s the “viral load” - if you get a lot of the virus thrown on you then it’s more difficult to survive.
I call complete bullshit to this. Manipulation at its finest
I swear, your reading comprehension sucks, or you’re reading a different article. I’ve read it three times, and there’s nothing at all to suggest that the victim died of anything but COVID-19.
For kicks, I searched for other articles on the same patient, and they confirm that he died of COVID-19:
https://www.foxnews.com/us/texas-hospital-died-covid-party
https://dfw.cbslocal.com/2020/07/10/texas-doctor-says-man-died-attending-covid-party/
Note that he was described as, “a healthy young man,” not, “riddled with bulletholes.” I understand that you don’t want to believe that the virus is dangerous to young people too, but you need to pull your head out of your ass^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hthe sand.
That may be why the dead guy said.
I think I made a mistake. I thought this was a hoax, but its not.’
The masks people are wearing will not protect anyone from the virus. The virus can go through them. Imagine wearing them for a long time how filthy those masks really are.
The viral load hypothesis has been proven to be true in Italy, China, and other locales.
The virus doesn’t float in the air by itself, it’s suspended in tiny water droplets. Wearing a proper mask significantly reduces both the chance of breathing those droplets, and the chance of spreading them to others.
Why is that hard for you to understand?
