I heard a walmart worker saying the reason the cash only self checkout was closed because of this yesterday. More bs courtesy of the left.
It is a push a cashless society.
Never let a crisis go to waste.
Yep.
My local stores are cool. They don’t have change so they either round up or down. Mostly down.
I emptied our stash and found one bicentennial quarter, one BUFFALO nickel, a foreign coin, a wheat penny and one other coin I forgot what it was....
Thankfully shes thin, Im the wide one.
There is always a slight shortage of coins.... the feds rely on a quick turnover of coins by businesses.... it isnt happening..
So you’re saying businesses are hoarding coins at a level beyond the cut in in-person commerce?
I’m skeptical. I think more likely the Fed is restricting its usual flow of coins into the supply—with Covid as the excuse.
Big Finance, like Big Pharma, Big Tech, Big Intel, Deep Globalists and Big Marxism all going for broke with their own agendas through this global pandemic (wink, wink).
I’m a little late but, just because you don’t see a coin sorter out front in the lobby doesn’t mean the bank doesn’t have one in the back. My bank was like this. So ask around. Good luck.
Never too late for a good suggestion. It never occurred to me that they might have a sorter of their own. I am going to inquire at my bank on my next drive-up visit!
several stores in north Texas have signs about this at the registers and it was mentioned by my restaurant manager today too.
Heres a theory of mine. If the UN wants a one world government controlling and keeping tabs on what we spend money on is important. Buying something on Craigslist where it is just cash? Well there is no tax there
Well, if there truly is a shortage, someone should be willing to pay a premium for my coins, right?
I took a big pile a couple of years ago. Not a problem.
