“Tells me hes furious at Barrs DOJ slow-walking everything.”
I would disagree with you there. Fog of war going on. Trump does not show his hand at all, only when ready to pounce. He supports Barr 100%. WHy? I can only surmise since we are not privy to what’s going on behind the scenes. One supposition would be to ramp up anticipation for the actual indictments and arrests which, according to the last statement by IIRC Barr, will be around labor day.
I disagree. When Trump is really mad he consistently tells you he is really mad.
He vehemently despises Sessions, no matter what "ploy" people want to believe Trump has been running. And Trump has officially lost patience with Barr.
Barr is now showing HIS hand with his comments about Roger Stone's "fair" sentence.

I think he’s doing a lot of this to stir the pot and do a “squirrel” on the media and dems. While they are all chasing after the latest “outrage of the day” the real work is getting done behind the scenes without distractions or leaks.
Exactly. Trump supports Barr because he knows Barr is extremely process-oriented. Every time Barr is interviewed this theme emerges: there is a process, and we are following it precisely. No t’s will go uncrossed, no steps will be skipped. In the end if that means a case can’t be brought against someone who “we know is guilty” then that’s the way it will be, and Barr will not care one whit as long as the process was followed to get that result. It also means that when a case is brought, it will have been done the right way, each step will have been validated and double-checked, and they will (most likely) win.
The only thing worse than slow-walking or whatever they want to call it is to have actions brought which are not built solidly and which get tossed out by the judge or jury and those implicated can strut around forever saying “completely exonerated!”.
