I definitely understand your not wanting to stay there another summer. When we moved to Corpus Christi and experienced the first oppressive summer, we moved before we had to endure a second one. We were used to California high desert Summers, and thought they were brutal enough. But at least it cooled down at night, and low humidity made it bearable.

I hope you get to go visit your nice this year, and get to have a fun house hunting trip.

I lived in the bay area a mile away from the water. So it didn’t get that hot. I grew up in the bay area, then my parents decided to move to Texas when I was 16. I vowed to move back, but got involved with cowboys a d other misfits, worked on ranches, got married and had kids and finished college, life. Finally moved back to California. I ha e family there, but my girls eventually moved away, my boys didn’t like the traffic out there, so I decided to move back to Texas to be close to most of my kids. I knew I never ,liked the heat but I guess with my age now I REALLY don’t like it.
